African Film Festival

A unique retrospective entirely dedicated to African cinema, so unknown, will be screened at the Odyssée Cinema from November 13th to 17th, as well as a selection of documentaries proposed by France Télévisions.

6 screenings are scheduled everyday: 12am, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm, 8pm and 10pm; debates are organised with African filmmakers.

  • "Africa Paradise" by Sylvestre Amoussou - followed by a debate with the film maker at 8pm on Saturday 15th
  • "Fatima, l'Algérienne de Dakar" by Med Hondo - followed by a debate with the film maker at 8pm on Monday 17th

  • "Darwin’s nightmare" by Hubert Sauper
  • "Djourou, une corde à ton cou" by Olivier Zuchuat
  • "Bamako" de Abderrahmane Sissako
  • "The Constant Gardener" de Fernando Meirelles
  • "The Little Girl Who Sold the Sun" by Djibril Diop Mambety
  • "Jean, Moussa et le Fil de l’Eau" by Guy Wach
  • "Dans les brumes de Manengouba" by Guillaume de Ginestrel and Jean-Thomas Renaud
  • "Vivre dans le pays le plus pauvre du monde" by Jean- Louis Saporito.
