Message from Washington about the European Development Days

“We adopted a very important statement on international financial markers but as well on real economy, which is the most important for the citizens, for the families, for the workers.”

During the meeting of the G20, President Barroso underlined the importance to take into account developing countries “We are here to discuss the big problems of the financial economy, but it would be unthinkable to forget the poorest of the poor.”

The global challenges need a local response (…). How can you think global governance without local governance? Challenges are of course global, but actors are local”.
